Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of payroll and benefits on a weekly basis.
- Interpret and explain policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Assist in the hiring of employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
- Review employment applications, set up interviews with selected candidates, assist with interviews, and communicate with management making hire recommendations and to appropriately place candidates in open positions.
- Schedule and conduct new employee orientation/onboarding.
- Perform searches for qualified candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media advertisement, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
- Assist in maintaining and updating human resource documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, or performance evaluations forms.
- Perform safety & OSHA reporting.
- Assist with staff development to improve skills, knowledge, and attitudes of employees.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
